Skopje, Macedonia – Today, December 19, 2018, Telma TV and the Macedonian Center for International Cooperation (MCIC) celebrated the completion of USAID’s support for the Top Tema – On Your Side television show at Public Room. Telma TV and MCIC also announced the winners of the fourth and final round of the USAID-funded citizen journalism competition.

To mark International Anti-Corruption Day today, the Platform of Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) in the Fight Against Corruption, supported by USAID, organized a conference titled, “Urgent Priority Reforms: Strengthening the Institutional Framework in the Fight Against Corruption: Was Progress Made?” at the Alexander Palace Hotel in Skopje. The conference gathered together representatives from the government, public institutions, the media, and civil society to discuss a coordinated effort to fight corruption in Macedonia.

Supporting Entrepreneurial Education in Europe and Eurasia

Inaugurated in October 2017, the Supporting Entrepreneurial Education in Europe and Eurasia Project, implemented by Junior Achievement Europe, inspires and prepares young people to succeed in the global economy, by developing and implementing programs for entrepreneurial education, financial literacy and work readiness. The project works with high schools, students, teachers, and other supporting organizations, business associations, financial institutions, companies willing to support entrepreneurial education in North Macedonia. It also improves partnerships between businesses and schools to create a generation of young people, capable of applying innovative approaches and techniques in their curricular activities and prepare for the modern workplace.
