YouthPower Communities of Practice
YouthPower’s Learning Network aims to work with the global community in the exploration, evaluation, and strengthening of youth-serving programs around the world. At the center of the network are YouthPower’s Communities of Practice (CoPs) – social networks that drive discovery of promising practices in positive and cross-sectoral youth development. There are currently four active CoPs under YouthPower Learning: Youth Engagement, Gender and Positive Youth Development, Youth in Peace and Security and Cross-Sectoral Skills for Youth.
Interagency Youth Working Group
Interagency Working Group on Youth Programs (IWGYP), which is composed of representatives from 18 federal agencies that support programs and services focusing on youth. The IWGYP promotes the goal of positive, healthy outcomes for youth in four significant ways: 1) Create and Support youth.gov; 2) Create and Support YE4C.gov; 3) Identify and Disseminate Promising and Effective Strategies; and 4) Promote Enhanced Collaboration.
Youth.gov
Youth.gov (formerly FindYouthInfo.gov) was created by the Interagency Working Group on Youth Programs (IWGYP), which is composed of representatives from 20 federal agencies that support programs and services focusing on youth. This federal website provides interactive tools and other resources to help youth-serving organizations and community partnerships plan, implement, and participate in effective programs for youth.
Youth Engaged 4 Change
The Youth Engaged 4 Change (YE4C) website is the home of the IWGYP’s online youth engagement efforts. YE4C helps young people between the ages of 16 and 24 engage in change on personal, community, and national levels.
