SKOPJE, May 14, 2020 - Today the U.S. Embassy announced that it is providing $16 million to help North Macedonia reduce corruption, better integrate youth in society, and increase economic competitiveness. The United States Government, represented by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), is seeking offers from qualified persons to provide personal services under contract as described in this solicitation.
SKOPJE – The U.S. Government has committed $1.1 million to mitigate the spread of the COVID-19 outbreak in North Macedonia. Through the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), the United States is providing these funds to the World Health Organization (WHO) and United Nations Children's Fund – UNICEF to implement activities to support the country’s efforts to respond to the COVID-19.
USAID is closely coordinating with the Government of North Macedonia, international humanitarian partners, and other stakeholders to identify priority areas for investment.
The United States Agency for International Development in North Macedonia (USAID/North Macedonia) seeks proposals to carry out a five-year activity, to work with municipalities to measurably increase municipal own-source resources and external funds and increase their budget execution rate in compliance with the Government of North Macedonia’s (GoNM) budgeting and reporting requirements.
USAID intends to hold three conferences allowing anyone interested in applying to the APS to ask questions about the application process. See the attached document for more details.
