Ana Golejshka is a social activist with experience in the NGO sector, and has been dedicated to Retweet-a-Meal, an informal initiative that promotes awareness about food disposal and reuse of food before its expiration, for the past three years. She was recognized for her dedication to food sustainability and was invited to be the Project Coordinator of “Food for All, Poverty for Nobody”, implemented by “Ajde Makedonija”, a project that motivates and inspires high school students to recycle food waste, change certain habits and hopefully raise the next generation of environment-friendly social entrepreneurs. Golejshka is well known on the literary scene, and has performed many poetry readings at poetry festivals. She has received several prestigious awards for her poetry in Macedonia and her poems have been translated in Serbian, Turkish and English.
Golejshka graduated from the Department of General and Comparative Literature in Skopje and is a recognized powerhouse on social media.
