The purpose of this Amendment No. 1 to provide answers to questions received.

Question 1: Since there is a requirement for the organization submitting a quote to be registered in SAM, does the organization has to possess that registration certification at the moment of signing the award or there is a maybe a certain time period after the award for that certificate to be obtained? This since registration in SAM to take place a letter needs to physically reach the USA, which takes time.

Answer 1: Yes, the organization must have an active registration in SAM at the time the contract is signed.

Question 2: Could you maybe provide us with an example (especially a local one) on how to calculate the DBA insurance mentioned in SECTION H – SPECIAL CONTRACT REQUIREMENTS?

Answer 2: See the last paragraph on section L.3 INSTRUCTIONS FOR PREPARATION OF QUOTATION (page 48 of the RFQ) for DBA calculation example.
