This year, 100 percent of the companies partnering with USAID's Academy for Heavy Machinery and Commercial Vehicles (AGEVEC) have declared themselves to be satisfied by the young interns received as part of the training program. In addition to their technical knowledge, the recruiters cite the students rigor, diligence, and self-motivation as key assets to their companies.

USAID Career Center is showing it’s serious about inclusivity. On October 2nd, 2017, the two Casablanca-based USAID Career Centers (Vocational Career Center and the Hassan II University Career Center) participated as a partner and service provider in the third edition of the "Disability Employment Forum” organized by the Espoir Maroc Association in partnership with the national employment agency (ANAPEC), Social Development Agency (ADS), and the Association for the Social and Professional Integration of Disabled People (ADAPT). This event aimed to encourage people with disabilities to enter the job market by connecting them to job recruiters and employers.

USAID Career Center has teamed up with the private sector to develop "Najahi – Prêt pour l’Emploi" (literally, “My Success – Ready for Employment), a catalog of 24 training modules with two distinct sections: a first section including basic modules that facilitate learning of soft skills essentials and basic job search skills (self-diagnostic skills, written and oral communication, resumé and cover letter writing, and job interview preparation); and the second section comprising supplementary modules for those who wish to go even further and acquire skills more specific to certain professions (customer relationship management, business integration, and problem solving).
