Peter Wiebler, USAID Mission Director and Adam Shmidt, Director of USAID office of Democracy and Social Development visited Ken Walker Physical Rehabilitation Center in Batumi, Adjara. The guests toured clinic facility and observed rehabilitation sessions with persons with disabilities. The Ken Walker Physical Rehabilitation Clinic offers opportunities for persons with disabilities to receive quality treatment and start independent living. The clinic is an example of successful collaboration of the U.S. government with its counterparts in the Government of Georgia, Government of Ajara, and Tbilisi State Medical University. The U.S.government is committed to supporting partnerships, which drive Georgians social development and build self-reliant communities across Georgia.
