Workshops in this series provide USAID-funded business development services (BDS) providers with the knowledge and skills to incorporate Resource-Efficient and Cleaner Production (RECP) approaches in their assistance to client MSMEs.
RECP is a proven, business-oriented problem-solving strategy that focuses on improving the efficiency of production processes. Increased efficiency often translates into higher profits and better quality. The more efficient use of input materials and energy also equates to less waste, resource degradation, and pollution, thereby reducing impacts on human health and the environment. RECP thus advances the goals of enterprise development and income generation programs by helping improve business performance.
