What is ACE?

The Africa Center of Excellence (ACE) is an ultra-modern training facility located in a serene suburb of Accra, Ghana dedicated to the professional development and growth of the USAID workforce. In collaboration with the Regional Executive Office of USAID/West Africa presents a dynamic and efficient means of organizing and conducting training programs and capacity building initiatives. Since inauguration in 2014 ACE continues to offer core USAID training as well as advanced, specialized technical training and piloting newly-developed courses. The mission of ACE is to support technical training, career development and conferencing requirements of USAID missions in Ghana and the West African sub region whiles also presenting a unique opportunity for worldwide missions and partners to experience its impactful training interventions.

Where do I fit in?

There are a number of ways to engage ACE, whether you are looking to develop your skill set, or share your knowledge with peers, ACE is the ideal space to ensure knowledge sharing is taking place in a way that is beneficial for all USAID staff and relevant partners.

The center is open from 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday.
