Mashrou3i (“My Project” in Arabic) generates employment opportunities for young men and women in fourteen disadvantaged governorates of Tunisia by providing direct support to entrepreneurs through technical assistance, training, and business coaching, and by enhancing the capacity of local business support institutions.

The Center for Entrepreneurship and Executive Development (CEED) assists in strengthening Tunisian businesses by developing, connecting and mentoring entrepreneurs so they, in turn, can create jobs and accelerate economic prosperity. This is done through two CEED project platforms: CEED Grow and CEED Go-to-Market. CEED Grow helps growth-oriented entrepreneurs who have already achieved market success to increase sales volume, expand their business network, and improve their market position. CEED Go-to-Market targets product owners and managers in established companies, as well as young entrepreneurs, to achieve their high growth aspirations in bringing products to global markets.

Tunisia Jobs, Opportunities, and Business Success (JOBS) is a five-year activity to support small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to create sustainable employment for Tunisians throughout the country. The project delivers targeted firm-level assistance to businesses to accelerate growth and create jobs. Additionally, JOBS improves the employability and skills of Tunisian job-seekers based on demand-driven enhancements of Tunisia’s vocational training system.

Fiscal Reform for a Strong Tunisia (FIRST) assists the Ministry of Finance to rationalize tax policy, modernize tax administration, and undertake other fiscal reforms to secure a sound fiscal foundation for economic stability and long-term growth. The project aims to help the Tunisian government improve revenue collection, reduce taxpayer compliance costs, improve the budgeting and expenditure process, and enhance public accountability.

The Tunisia Accountability, Decentralization, and Effective Municipalities (TADAEEM or “Consolidation”) Project supports the principle that an effective government that fosters collaboration between institutions and citizens will contribute to a more democratic and inclusive society. TADAEEM works with Government of Tunisia officials and other partners – especially at the local and regional levels – to help in developing more effective ways to provide public services, ensuring that essential amenities are provided in an inclusive, efficient and accountable manner.
