A Congressional delegation of the House Democracy Partnership led by Representative Roskam visited Kosovo on February 18 through February 20. The delegation met with the President of the Republic of Kosovo Hashim Thaqi, Prime Minister of Kosovo Isa Mustafa, Assembly Speaker Kadri Veseli, and met with various parliamentary groups. The focus of this informational visit was to learn about the progress made by the legislative institutions of Kosovo and how they operate.
The delegation was accompanied by their spouses who had their own interesting meetings and discussions with property rights activists and transformational leaders. In addition they visited several USAID supported projects and observed how USAID has partnered with different stakeholder to create a better and prosperous future in Kosovo.
