In light of International Women’s Day, the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) is organizing a special event to highlight the successes of women in agriculture. During the event, successful women agricultural producers in Batken, Jalal-Abad, Naryn, and Osh will share their stories. These women work with USAID’s Agro Horizon project, which, among other initiatives, supports women entrepreneurship in the Kyrgyz Republic.
The event will take place on Tuesday, March 6, from 10:00 am – 15:50 pm at Remi Restaurant, Masaliev Avenue, Osh. The event is open to all media.

Women farmers and facility workers will give 5-minute inspirational talks on how new/upgraded facilities expand opportunities: economic, employment, increased income, etc.
