U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) Acting Assistant Administrator for Latin America and the Caribbean Sarah-Ann Lynch will travel to Bogota, Colombia, from March 6-9, 2017 to review USAID's programming in the country.
USAID's work in Colombia includes promoting economic prosperity through the legal economy; helping the Colombian government improve the living conditions of victims of violence and vulnerable groups, including women, Afro-Colombians, and indigenous peoples; promoting respect for human rights and rule of law; and addressing environmental issues in one of the most ecologically diverse countries in the world.
