In 2018, Kosovo became a regional leader in transparent public spending with the launch of its e-Procurement platform.  To ensure that contracting authorities and municipalities know how to use this new platform, USAID, through its Transparent, Effective, and Accountable Municipalities activity, and the Public Procurement Regulatory Commission (PPRC) publicly launched a series of video tutorials on May 24.

USAID and PPRC jointly developed the videos, which replace traditional classroom instruction for contracting authorities, and provide training opportunities for the private sector and civil society.  The videos will be posted on the e-Procurement platform and in the training section of PPRC’s website to promote broader adoption and use of the e-Procurement platform.  PPRC estimates that 9,100 individuals will use the new videos, including 1,100 municipal-level public servants, 1,600 central-level public servants, and 6,400 private-sector and civil society representatives.
