One of my first jobs was as a baker.  It was my first year in university and I woke up every day at five in the morning and learned to bake bread, cookies, pies and cakes.  It was a great job because the whole bakery smelled like wonderful desserts and fresh bread.

The USAID Transparency in Health Engagement Project organized an event today in collaboration with the Albanian Supreme Audit Institution, the High Inspectorate for the Declaration and Audit of Assets and Conflicts of Interest, and the Ombudsman to present the findings of a Baseline Assessment for the three institutions, civil society, and media groups that was conducted from May-September 2017. At the end, Ms. Nielsen signed Memorandums of Understanding with the three partner institutions, witnessed by Dr. Catherine Johnson, Country Representative of USAID/Albania.

Tirana Court Chairwoman Enkeledi Hajro was interviewed by an Albanian newspaper regarding the case of the 300 court files found in her court’s archives that have not been sent for recourse to the High Court during the 2006-2015.
