As Vietnam continues its fast-paced integration into global markets, there is an urgent need to strengthen the government’s capacity to analyze and assess the impact of draft laws and regulations. On July 17-22, the USAID Governance for Inclusive Growth Program collaborated with Indiana University and the Ministry of Planning and Investment’s Academy of Policy and Development ― the leading policy research and analysis training institution in Vietnam ― to conduct two training courses aimed to improve policy analysis and leadership skills of central and provincial government officials. So what? Training courses like these enhance the skills of Vietnam's policymakers that will lead to a better regulatory environment.
