USAID Weekly Wrap-Up: USAID is continuing earthquake response efforts to Albania, dispersing food, blankets & hygiene items. Administrator Green visited Virginia Task Force I, to thank them for their efforts as part of USAID's response to recent natural disasters. Dr. Michael Kremer, co-founder & scientific director of USAID's Development Innovation Ventures program accepted the 2019 Nobel Prize in Economic Sciences. Administrator Green visited the USAID Haiti staff, to learn about current initiatives and priorities. He also met with UN Special Rep. Helen La Lime to discuss the current development challenges in Haiti.
