USAID Administrator Mark Green will travel to Miami July 19 - 20. On Thursday, the Administrator will tour the headquarters of the Office of Cuba Broadcasting. He will also visit a USAID relief-supply warehouse to review U.S. disaster-preparedness efforts in the region. While in Miami, Administrator Green will meet with Admiral Kurt Tidd, Commander of U.S. Southern Command to discuss collaboration between USAID and the U.S. Department of Defense to address development and humanitarian challenges in the Western Hemisphere. On Friday, Administrator Green will speak with members of the local Cuban, Nicaraguan, and Venezuelan communities and lawmakers from the Florida Congressional Delegation.
