The Regional Health Office (RHO) is positioning itself and the Mission for post-HIV epidemic control and post-COVID programming and technical assistance for the entire region. RHO is well-positioned to ensure that 20 years of healthcare investments in southern Africa have a lasting impact. In collaboration with the Office of HIV/AIDS (OHA), RHO is building a new cadre of technical advisors to focus on sustainable epidemic control. Emphasis will be placed on Local Partners and SustainableHealth Finance. RHO will continue to provide the essential management services (EMS) to the USAID limited presence countries (LPCs) of Angola, Botswana, and Namibia, as well as PEPFAR, focused technical assistance (TA) to USAID missions across southern Africa.
