Background

PMI Impact Malaria project seeks to strengthen malaria services delivered in health facilities and community settings. Specifically, the scope of this project includes technical assistance and implementation support for malaria case management (the primary focus), malaria in pregnancy services (i.e., IPTp and case management of pregnant women), and other malaria drug-based interventions appropriate for the given epidemiological setting. The scope also includes technical and implementation support for strengthening facility- and community-level case reporting and addressing provider behaviors. In Sierra Leone Impact Malaria is currently working in four districts including Bo, Koinadugu, Port Loko and Pujehun.
