Having successfully completed an agro-entrepreneurship workshop implemented by USAID’s Community, Family and Youth Resilience (CFYR) Program, 18 youth from the Anse La Raye district in St. Lucia pooled their resources to launch Youth Coast Farm, a small enterprise that produces crops for the local market.

Since November 2018, USAID’s Community Family and Youth Resilience (CFYR) Project has provided life-skills, job readiness and vocational training opportunities for over 500 at-risk Guyanese youth between age 16-29 as part of its workforce development thrust.

On Thursday, September 26, the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), together with the United States Embassy in Port of Spain, officially launched the Community Resilience Initiative, a program that supports communities in Trinidad and Tobago to become more resilient while hosting Venezuelan migrants.
