USAID delivered ventilators to the Chris Hani Baragwanath Academic Hospital in Johannesburg, South Africa. The US has pledged to deliver 1,000 ventilators in solidarity with South Africa. With USAID support, Venezuelan doctors who fled their country validated their professional degrees with the Peruvian medical college. They are now joining the COVID-19 response efforts.
