U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) Assistant Administrator for Europe and Eurasia Brock Bierman will travel to Los Angeles, California for the National Conference of State Legislatures 2018 Summit on July 31. He will deliver the keynote address at the International Delegates Program.
During the conference, Bierman will speak to a delegation of elected officials representing over 20 nations about USAID support for democratic governance.
The National Conference of State Legislatures (NCSL) is a bipartisan organization established in 1975 to serve the members and staff of state legislatures of the United States. NCSL International Programs fosters the exchange of ideas and the sharing of best practices in policy areas, budgetary matters, federalism and transparency, oversight and accountability, and promotes civic engagement and democratic participation.
