U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) Assistant Administrator for Latin America and the Caribbean John Barsa will travel to Haiti from January 11 to January 15, 2020.
During his trip, Assistant Administrator Barsa will represent USAID at official ceremonies commemorating the ten-year anniversary of the devastating earthquake that struck the country on January 12, 2010. Barsa will also visit USAID projects that work in conjunction with the people of Haiti, including projects that seek to improve health infrastructure and customs, as well as a partnership with the World Food Programme to distribute emergency food to Haitians affected by the current man-made crisis in the country.
