On Thursday, April 11, U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) Administrator Mark Green will participate in a keynote armchair conversation moderated by the Center for International and Strategic Studies (CSIS). The Administrator will be joined by Bureau for Policy, Planning, and Learning Assistant to the Administrator Jim Richardson. The conversation will be part of CSIS' 5th Annual Global Development Forum: "Preparing for Tomorrow, Today."
Administrator Green will highlight the Agency's new Policy Framework, which reorients USAID's work around self-reliance, by ensuring that USAID fosters capacity and commitment in partner countries across all levels so that they can eventually solve development challenges without USAID assistance.
Credentialed members of the media are invited to attend. To register, please contact Andrew Schwartz, Chief Communications Officer at 202-775-3242. The event will be shown live here.
WHEN: Thursday, April 11, 2019, 9:30 a.m.
