The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) hosted a Forest Finance Workshop with other donor countries, Government of Peru agencies, private sector financial institutions and forestry companies. The objective of the workshop was to identify barriers to formal, profitable forest sector investment, which constrain growth of an inclusive and sustainable forestry sector in Peru. The U.S. Ambassador Krishna R. Urs participated as well as Oscar Graham, representative of the Peruvian Ministry of Economy and Finance.
