USAID Peru Mission Director, Jene Thomas, participated in the event: And what are you doing for Peru? that our partner IDEA International organized to celebrate the completion of the "Citizen Commitment in Clean Elections" project. 

The results obtained as well as the strategies implemented by the project were presented and attendees were invited to reflect on the role that different actors have in relation to local democracy. 

The event was attended by representatives of the National Office of Electoral Processes of Peru, the National Jury of Elections of Peru, the Ministry of Women and Vulnerable Populations of Peru, embassies and cooperation agencies, civil society, organizations of traditionally excluded populations, as well as representatives of the media, artists and cultural managers.
