U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) Administrator Mark Green met today in Washington, D.C. with Australia's Minister for Foreign Affairs, Senator Marise Payne.
Administrator Green congratulated Foreign Minister Payne on her recent appointment, while emphasizing the strong collaboration between USAID and Australia's Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, especially on global health security, innovation, and women's livelihoods.
Administrator Green and Foreign Minister Payne agreed to continue aligning policies and programs to provide essential support to a free, open, and prosperous Indo-Pacific.
