The PSES pilot project supports Libya’s private sector to play a proactive and constructive role in bridging divides and reducing conflict in five Libyan communities. Based on Libyan-led community consultations, PSES supports targeted economic activities that build citizen trust, economic cooperation and interdependence between the sides of five communities in conflict, with a particular focus on engaging women and youth. The overall goal is to boost stability and reduce community-level conflict while strengthening Libya’s burgeoning private sector.

The Victims Institutional Strengthening Program (VISP) provides technical support at the national, departmental and municipal levels for the effective implementation of public policies for Colombia’s over eight million victims.  

The "Victims Participation and Collective Reparation Program,” promotes the effective participation of civil society in the implementation of the Victims and Land Restitution Law. 

Stabilization Facility for Libya (SFL) supports the Libyan Government of National Accord (GNA) by providing tangible ‘quick-wins’ at the local level in the East, South and West of Libya. SFL implements improvements, such as rehabilitating critical infrastructure and restoring basic public services, in close collaboration with local governing institutions.

The Coca-Cola Company (TCCC) and the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) have created a unique partnership to address community water needs in developing countries around the world.

The number of food-insecure people in Haiti’s hurricane-affected areas has decreased from approximately 1 million people as of late October to an estimated 400,000 people as of late December, according to the UN World Food Program (WFP)-led Emergency Food Security Assessment (EFSA) conducted from December 2–20. The EFSA also found a significant decline in the proportion of households adopting negative coping strategies due to food insecurity, with a 74 percent decrease in Sud Department, a 58 percent decrease in Grand’Anse Department, and a 54 percent decrease in Nippes Department.

In Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), people with disabilities are often economically and socially excluded on a much larger scale than those in Western Europe. The state has been unable to fully meet its responsibilities to citizens with special needs. People with intellectual disabilities are often placed in institutions, rather than being empowered to live independently.

The Strengthening Watershed and Irrigation Management (SWIM) project supports sustainable, agriculture-led economic growth by increasing the sustainable and productive use of water and strengthening water resource management in northern Afghanistan. Specifically, SWIM rehabilitates water infrastructure, strengthens the water regulatory environment; and increases the technical expertise of local entities to manage water resources.
