U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) Administrator Mark Green will travel to Paris, France, July 2-6.

On July 4, at the George C. Marshall Center in Paris, USAID Administrator Mark Green will headline an event hosted by the Community of Democracies, where he will discuss how USAID is helping partner countries in Europe and Eurasia become more resilient and self-reliant, particularly in the face of malign forces.

On July 4, Administrator Green will also participate in the G7 Development Ministerial, at which G7 members, partner countries, and representatives of civil society will discuss fragility, food security, and financing for sustainable development, largely in the Sahel. He will also participate in the Joint G7 Education and Development Ministerial on July 5 to discuss girls' education, technical/vocational training, and opportunities for youth in the Sahel. The G7 is an informal forum for the major economic powers that share democratic values and the ambition to address pressing global issues. Under the leadership of France, this year's focus for the G7 is on combating inequality.

Also while in Paris, Administrator Green will meet with government officials and international donors from the United Kingdom, Canada, and other nations to discuss ongoing and new collaboration on economic growth in Africa.
