On Monday, November 18, 2019, U.S. Ambassador Larry André introduced Mr. Lloyd Jackson as the new USAID Country Representative for Djibouti to the Honorable Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Government Spokesperson Mahmoud Ali Youssouf, in his first meeting as the new USAID representative to the country. Joined by USAID Ethiopia Mission Director Sean Jones, the delegation discussed priorities in strengthening U.S.-Djibouti partnership to improve health, education and economic growth opportunities for the people of Djibouti.
