Today, U.S. Agency for International Development Administrator Mark Green met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The two officials discussed the significance of the recently signed MOU between USAID and MASHAV, Israel's international development agency.
Administrator Green and Prime Minister Netanyahu discussed the unwavering alliance between Israel and the United States, and their desire to collaborate more closely on mutual development priorities in the Middle East and Africa, with a particular focus on the Sahel, as well as water security and agriculture. The two officials also discussed Iran's malign influence throughout the world.
