Mission Director

Dana Mansuri was appointed Mission Director for USAID Iraq in June 2018.

A career Foreign Service Officer, Ms. Mansuri served as the Mission Director for USAID Morocco from 2013 to 2018, leading programs that promoted employability of youth, improved primary education, and citizen participation in governance.

Over the past 25 years with USAID, Ms. Mansuri has worn a variety of hats.  Prior to working in Morocco, Ms. Mansuri was the USAID Mission Director to Nigeria, focused on promotion of peace and stability, improved governance, non-oil economic growth, and delivery of quality education and health services to include prevention and treatment of HIV/AIDS. 

Other assignments include Deputy Mission Director to Jordan; Executive Officer in Morocco, Tanzania, and Ethiopia; Program Officer for the Africa Bureau and Project Manager/Information Technology Specialist for the Office of Information Resources Management in Washington DC.

Prior to joining USAID, Ms. Mansuri was a Senior Project Manager for Executive Resource Associates; a Senior Management Analyst at Booz, Allen & Hamilton, Inc.; and a Peace Corps Volunteer in Burkina Faso.

Ms. Mansuri holds a Master of International Business Administration from the Thunderbird School of Global Management in Arizona and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Washington in Seattle.
