The Collecting Taxes Database is a framework that highlights tax system assessment and measurement as a means to promote improvements in both policy and administration. USAID collected and examined more than 40 indicators – modifying them to 20 indicators below.

The database is divided into two categories – tax performance and tax administration performance.  It includes information on 200 national tax systems. USAID plans to update it annually.
