Administrator Green attended the Munich Security Conference speaking about current USAID priorities, like democracy and countering malign authoritarian influence. While in Germany Administrator Green met with GAVI, and discussed USAID's commitment to making vaccines accessible to lower income countries. In Tunisia, he met with Libyan representatives who spoke about their activities supporting democracy, peace-building, indigenous rights, women's rights, and countering hate speech. Administrator Green visited the Great Mosque of Kairouan in Tunisia. The ancient mosque is one of the largest Islamic monuments in North Africa.  
 

  • Administrator Green and D.A. Glick attended the first USAID Deputy Mission Directors Conference. They stressed how vital Deputy Mission Directors are for the success of the agency's reforms.
  •  Administrator Green met with Admiral Philip Davidson, Commander of Indopacific Command, to discuss USAID's Asia strategy.
  • D.A. Glick met with GAVI CEO, Dr. Seth Berkley, to discuss USAID's continued partnership.
  • D.A. Glick spoke about cultural diversity at the 2020 USAID African American History Month commemorative program.
