Thanks to the generosity of Americans, USAID promotes a more health and stable world. Major areas of focus: combating infectious disease, controlling the HIV/AIDS epidemic, preventing child and maternal deaths. In Nigeria, USAID partnered with 100 trained volunteers on how to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in rural communities.
