Overview
The VWO Safe House for At-Risk Women and Girls project, which was signed in September 2012, supports efforts to establish and operate women’s shelters. Specifically, the project supports immediate safe refuge to at-risk women and girls, including victims of violence, in Nimroz province. The project will also support psycho-social counseling to victims of abuse and violence, legal counseling and services to women, and will establish a case referral system to ensure efficient protection for at-risk women and girls.

Overview
USAID’s Fight Corruption Tooth and Nail project, which is managed by AINA Media and Culture Center, raises awareness of anticorruption efforts in Afghanistan through a national civic education and media campaign. The project disseminates anticorruption messages at the national and sub-national levels through television spots, radio dramas, cell phone videos, and billboards.
