U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) Assistant Administrator for Europe and Eurasia Brock Bierman will travel to Tbilisi, Georgia for the 5th Global Summit of the Open Government Partnership July 16-19, 2018, as head of the U.S. delegation.
While in Georgia, he will participate in panels promoting open governance and highlight USAID partnerships to increase government transparency and accountability. In addition, he will meet with government leaders, civil society, and the private sector to highlight U.S. efforts to promote citizen-responsive governance, empower citizens' participation in government, and harness technology to strengthen government accountability to citizens.
