In celebration of International Women’s Day, the Belgrade American Corner and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), in collaboration with the U.S. Embassy, organized a panel discussion bringing together civil society activists, business leaders, and those who honor this international celebration of women. 

Panelists concluded that worldwide, women continue to contribute to social, economic, cultural and political achievement. And there is much to celebrate. But progress toward gender equality has slowed in many places.
