U.S. Agency for International Development Administrator (USAID) Mark Green traveled to Miami September 6-7 to discuss USAID's support for the emergency response to Hurricane Dorian.
Today, Administrator Green met with local leaders, including Mayor of the City of Miami Francis Suarez and Mayor of Miami-Dade County Carlos Gimenez, where they discussed collaborating together, regarding hurricane response efforts in their local communities. The Administrator also briefed Congressman Mario Diaz-Balart (R-FL), Congresswoman Frederica Wilson (D-FL), and staff from other Florida congressional offices.
Finally, the Administrator met with the U.S. Coast Guard District 7, who has supported the relief effort jointly with USAID.
