U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) Deputy Administrator Bonnie Glick will travel to Ithaca, New York, from December 2-3, 2019.
On December 3, 2019, Deputy Administrator Glick will meet with leaders from her alma mater, Cornell University, including President Martha Pollack and Executive Dean Max Pfeffer. She will also tour the university's agriculture and life-sciences research facilities and meet with USAID-funded researchers. While there, she will launch the new $25 million Feed the Future Innovation Lab for Crop Improvement, which Cornell will lead. This multi-year partnership advances the goals of Feed the Future, the U.S. Government's initiative to reduce global hunger, poverty, and malnutrition.
