United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Administrator Mark Green spoke today with the Honorable Christine Lagarde, Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF).

Administrator Green noted the importance USAID places on its longstanding partnership with the IMF, including efforts to better mobilize domestic resources in developing countries. The Administrator and Managing Director discussed opportunities to deepen cooperation, particularly in supporting partner countries to develop institutional capacity, mobilize innovative sources of revenue, and leverage traditional and non-traditional resources.
