U. S. Agency for International Development (USAID) Acting Administrator Wade Warren will travel to Lisbon, Portugal July 2-4 to participate in the 49th Annual Tidewater Meeting. The meeting is co-hosted by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) Development Assistance Committee and Portugal's Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs and Cooperation. Warren will join other leaders of major bilateral and multilateral aid agencies to discuss 21st-century development issues, including the architecture of international development cooperation; mobilizing additional private investment and developing countries' domestic resources; and improving the link between humanitarian and development assistance.
