On behalf of the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), I would like to extend my best wishes for Chag Pesach Kasher ve’Sameach to all Jews who are celebrating the end of Passover around the world.
The story of Passover is, first and foremost, one of freedom and liberty, of self-determination and peoplehood. But its celebration has also come to symbolize the blessings of sharing tradition among families and communities, as well as a remembrance of those who are still suffering oppression.
USAID shares these principles as we work every day on behalf of the American people to promote human dignity and support the countries Journeys to Self-Reliance. These journeys are also journeys of freedom. We are proud of our partnerships with Jewish aid and development organizations, and we are committed to continue working closely with them and their beneficiaries on our shared goals.
