Punjab Enabling Environment Project

Speeches Shim

The Punjab Enabling Environment Project (PEEP) improves the economic status of focus populations and sectors by supporting an improved enabling environment for agribusiness sector growth in Punjab. The project accelerates advocacy for policy, regulatory, and institutional reforms through private sector engagement; strengthens institutional capacity to sustain reforms; and mobilizes private sector investments in the horticulture, livestock, and dairy subsectors. These three components will be instrumental in leveraging $180 million in private sector investment and creating 15,000 direct and indirect job opportunities over the fiveyear project life.
