In Yafran, Libya, USAID has carried out an economic support program to help municipal councils improve the quality of life for its citizens. This includes training in financial management such that the municipality can make the most of finite resources, like water. Local government officials share how they have utilized the knowledge and skills from the USAID program to better invest local revenues to benefit their community.
