U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) Assistant Administrator for Latin America and the Caribbean John Barsa will travel to Miami, FL on July 18-19, 2019. Assistant Administrator Barsa will meet with Admiral Craig S. Faller, Commander of the United States Southern Command, and Major General Antonio M. Fletcher, Commander of the United States Special Operations Command South, to discuss ongoing USAID collaboration with the Department of Defense in Latin America and the Caribbean. While in Miami, Assistant Administrator Barsa will also visit a warehouse where USAID pre-positions emergency relief supplies that are ready to be immediately deployed to countries in the region that are affected by hurricanes and other disasters.
