U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) Acting Assistant Administrator for Africa Cheryl L. Anderson will travel to Ahmedabad, India from May 19-25, 2017.

In Ahmedabad, Anderson will attend the 2017 Annual Meetings of the African Development Bank. The theme of the Annual Meetings, "Transforming Agriculture for Wealth Creation in Africa," underscores the critical importance of agriculture in Africa. Anderson will be featured as part of the panel discussion, "Creative Energy Solutions to Boost African Agriculture" during the meetings. She will also meet with donor organizations, country and regional partners, and private sector representatives to discuss shared development priorities.
