USAID closed in 2013 with three major programs, its Economic Growth Project, its Good Governance Activity, and its Persons with Disabilities Initiative.

USAID’s operations in Montenegro closed in late 2013 after the country made significant strides to improve its residents’ lives and set it on a path toward European Union (EU) accession.
