U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) Assistant Administrator for the Bureau of Europe and Eurasia Brock Bierman will travel to Chicago, Illinois on April 2-4.

On Wednesday, Bierman will meet with representatives of Rotary International, the Rotary Club of Chicago, and the Chicago Council on Global Affairs. On Thursday, Assistant Administrator Bierman will provide keynote remarks at the first ever Illinois-Azerbaijan Agriculture Forum, sponsored by USAID. Bierman will highlight USAID's support for the agricultural industry in Azerbaijan and the benefits of exploring new partnerships between American and Azerbaijani businesses.

On the sidelines of the Forum, Bierman will meet with Azerbaijan Minister of Agriculture Inam Kerimov and representatives of leading U.S. corporations including John Deere, the Lindsay Corporation, AGCO, and Amity Technology.
